
Antoni Krej is a gifted Polish-American trumpet player born in Warsaw in 2005. He began studying trumpet at age 9 at the O. Kolberg Primary Music School, later attending the Zenon Brzewski Music High School, where he honed his skills under prominent instructors and won numerous national and international awards.
In 2022, he earned a scholarship to the prestigious Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan, studying with Ken Larson and performing in top ensembles like the World Youth Symphony Orchestra. He graduated with highest honors and participated in masterclasses with world-renowned trumpet players including Ole Edvard Antonsen and Vincent diMartino.
Krej has performed with leading ensembles such as the New York Philharmonic and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, showcasing a broad repertoire from classical to contemporary. He now studies on a full-ride scholarship at the University of Denver with David Artley and Brian Neal.
In 2024, he founded the Denver Chamber Orchestra (DCO), a college and community ensemble dedicated to high-level performance and artistic growth. Krej is also passionate about music education and outreach, especially promoting works by Polish composers for younger audiences. For him, music is a bridge across cultures and generations.
