The Denver Chamber Orchestra is dedicated to delivering the highest caliber of classical music performance, driven by the new generation of talented musicians. Through membership in our orchestra, young musicians gain critical experience that nurtures their artistic development and helps them achieve their future career aspirations. As a Denver-based ensemble, we are committed to enriching the local community by sharing the beauty of classical music and providing a platform for young artists to grow regardless of their socio-economic, political, and cultural backgrounds. We aim to create an inclusive and immersive learning environment through our internship program for high school juniors and seniors specializing in classical music. This program allows young musicians to collaborate with active professionals and college students, performing professional-level orchestral repertoire while gaining valuable insight and mentorship from experienced members of the musical community. Our mission is to fill a vital role in the local cultural landscape by offering a high-level orchestral experience that brings classical and contemporary orchestral repertoire to the forefront and provides an avenue for young musicians to enter the world of professional music.
